I love a good mooch about the beauty aisle in supermarkets, whether its home or abroad. Finding a new range to test out that is free from nasties like SLS and are reasonably priced while being widely available to a variety of consumers is, dare I say, exciting or maybe I need to get out more!

While wandering around Sainsbury’s I found a lovely looking Vegan beauty range in their body care aisle, named ‘Love Beauty and Planet’. Maybe not the easiest name to roll off the tongue however they range has beautiful packaging but also offers body washes that are free from SLS (my pet peeve) as well as no silicons, no dyes and no parabens. Alongside that they are also a cruelty free, they use vegan ethically soured ingredients and recycled bottles for their packaging. They certainly are think about our planet and ethics, we can’t argue with that, especially when the body washes are only £6.00 for 500ml!

There was a variety of scents including Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower, Muru Muru Butter &Rose both of which smelt gourgous, fresh, uplifting and perfect for a morning shower pick me up!
I also noticed an interesting hydrating body gel which immediatly made me think of using it as an aftersun. According to the product info it isa unique textured gel that instantly melts into skin, refreshing and hydrating for up to 24hours! Ok so am not sure about the 24 hour claim but it certainly sounds appealing!

The brand also has haircare products, deodrant, sheet masks, cleansing gels and body lotions. You can find it in Sainsburys, Supedrug and Boots. None of the products are over £8.00.

It’s great to see that more affordable free from brands are hitting the market and easily acessible to everyday consumers.
